Open Blog - a free and open source blogging platform built using the CodeIgniter PHP framework.

How to Install Open Blog?
Step 1: Login to your cPanel account then click on "Softaculous" Icon.

Step 2: In Softaculous account, click on "Open Blog" (You can find this under "Blog" category)

Open Blog Configuration and Settings:
Step 3: Now press on "Install" Tab and enter this following details

Configuration details:
Choose Protocol: If you want to install your script on SSL protected protocol then chose "https://" otherwise leave this as it is.

Choose Domain: If you have a multiple domain or sub-domain and want to install on addon site or sub-domain then change this to your sub-domain or addon domain or leave this as it is.

In Directory: If you want to install this script on your main domain then remove any text from this field and leave this empty

Site Name: Enter your site Title

Site Description: Enter site description

Table Prefix: You can enter anything, for security purpose you can use different name like: sn2z

Admin Username: Your Serendipity Administrator user name, you can use default username but for security reason use different admin username like: secretuser

Admin Password: Enter your administrator password

Real Name: Enter Your real or virtual name Smile

Admin Email: Your email address.

Select Language: If you want to change blog language from English to other langauge then change this otherwise leave this as it is.


Step 4: Scroll down to Install button and press "Install"

Installing Open Blog

After installation, copy admin URL in notepad or somewhere.
